UWNEMN’s mission is to unite and focus our communities to create measurable results to improve peoples lives and strengthen our families.  We create long-lasting change by addressing three focus areas; helping children succeed, empowering healthy lives, and stabilizing families and individuals.  UWNEMN provides funding to local non-profit organizations and also provides direct service programs (Buddy Backpacks, Imagination Library, Smiles United, Bright Beginnings, Comforts of Home, Meet Up and Chow Down, Lunch Buddies Mentoring, and United for Veterans). We intend this emergency funding will assist local agencies that are on the frontlines of this pandemic insuring that our most vulnerable community members receive food, meals and rental assistance. Funding will also benefit UWNEMN’s Buddy Backpack Program and United for Veterans crisis funding.
