The public library has been an important resource for our community since 1896. Like all public institutions, our library faces budget reductions and has limited resources. Now everyone can help to keep our library strong and vital.

Through the Virginia Community Foundation Virginia Public Library Fund, donors may direct their gifts to support the library. Contributions to the Virginia Public Library Fund will be used solely to benefit this treasured resource. Seventy percent of each contribution will be deposited in a permanent endowment, with only investment returns disbursed, and the remaining 30% may be used to support the most immediate and pressing needs.
