- We are pleased to announce that the following conductors will be in charge of the musical groups performing at the Saturday evening concert: Choir: Larry Groves, Orchestra: Sheila Wilcox, marching band: John Vukmanich Jr., Concert Band: John Vukmanich Sr., Bob Baldrica and John Vukmanich Jr. All alumni and community members, with experience in these musical areas, are invited to participate. The only requirements are that you register to participate and that you attend the two rehearsals. Rehearsals are on Wednesday and Thursday of reunion week at the following times each day: band 9:00-11:00 a.m., choir 1:00-3:00 p.m., Orchestra 3:00-5:00 p.m. To participate in the concert you are not required to be registered for the whole event, but you must be registered to participate in the concert.
- We are anticipating a shortage of housing. If you have accommodations that you would like to rent for the week, please contact Pam Lundstrom, rp91760@cpinternet.com or mail your request to "The Great Virginia Get-Together", Box 3, Virginia, MN 55792. We will be happy to post your listing on the web site.
- Kathryn Cremers, neighborhood picnic chair, is looking for a representative from each neighborhood to be the contact person and greeter for their picnic. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kathryn Cremers, kathryn.cremers@afscmecouncil65.org
