One of the highlights of past reunions has been the opportunity for VHS alumni to reunite with their classmates. The Great Virginia Get-Together will also be providing opportunities for alumni and past residents to reconnect with their neighborhoods. The committee divided the Virginia School District into neighborhoods. On the registration form you are given an opportunity to register for as many neighborhood picnics as you would like. Once the registrations are in, the committee will determine which neighborhoods have an interest in a scheduled picnic...and a time and location will be assigned. If you register for a picnic and there has not been enough interest, your picnic registration fee will be reimbursed. Every effort is being made to keep picnics as close to your neighborhood as possible. Time and location of the neighborhood picnics will be available on the reunion web site and in your registration packets. The committee has been delighted to see the overwhelmingly positive response to the picnics by registrants to date.
